Carolina Kostner is reestablishing herself as a favorite for the World title after yesterday win by over 26 points above the rest of the competition. After a disappointing Grand Prix series, Valentina Marchei is looking strong enough to nail the second place. Alissa Czisny had a SP and a FP that she would like to forget, finishing with the bronze.
Kostner delivered a clean program. She hit two triple flips and four more triples.
Following up her clean short program yesterday, she hit five clean triples, including two lutzes.
Czisny hit only two triples, though both were called underrotated, and popped a number of other jumps. She fell on the triple lutz and then again on a downgraded triple loop in the second half of her program.
