Here the final standings after the Men SP of yesterday.
1. Patrick Chan CAN – 260.30
He opened with slight errors on his two quad toes, but continued to pack his program with difficult elements, landing six more triples and a double axel. A fall on his second triple lutz marred an otherwise solid free skate.
2. Daisuke Takahashi JPN – 249.12
He fell out of his opening quadruple toe but landed eight clean triples to set the standard early on in the competition. Choreographically superb, Takahashi moved all the way up to take the silver.
3. Javier Fernandez ESP – 247.55
He's the first Spanish skater to medal in the Grand Prix Final, taking the bronze with his best skate of the season. He opened with a strong quad toe and quad salchow. A few messy landings were costly and he finished behind Takahashi by just under two points.
4. Yuzuru Hanyu JPN – 245.8
5. Jeremy Abbott USA – 238.82
He opened with a strong quad toe, followed by a triple axel-double toe combination. But a fall on his second triple axel and an underrotated triple lutz took him out of medal contention.
6. Michal Brezina CZE – 218.98
