GP Final in Quebec City - LADIES FP RESULTS

Here the final standings after the Ladies SP of yesterday.

1. Carolina Kostner ITA – 187.48

She added a Grand Prix Final title to her resume today with an easy win over the other four ladies in the field. She hit five clean triples in her free skate and put her hand down on her opening triple flip. And even though her jumps were far from smooth, she fought through them to produce clean one-foot landings for every jumping pass except for the flip.

2. Akiko Suzuki JPN – 179.76

She started off strong with a double axel-triple toe as her second jumping pass. But errors on a triple loop and a triple lutz in the middle of her program prevented her from doing them in combination as necessary, knocking down her base value.

3. Alena Leonova RUS – 176.42

4. Elizaveta Tuktamisheva RUS – 174.51

She skated the most technically ambitious program in the field and was second in the free skate.

5. Alissa Czisny USA – 156.51

She had a rough free skate, falling twice and having four of her jumps called underrotated by the technical panel.
